Sasha and Stella's Departure
What a day! After finally getting all of our pictures together for the kids we got to the airport and there was a miriad of emotions. Sasha and Stella immediately started going through the pictures of their wonderful host "at home", Alex and Robin, and when they visited our house, and put their picks in their albums. they were showing their friends all their memories. Stella picked out three pictures each for Robin, Garrett and myself of she and Sasha. We kept trying to explain to her they were hers and she should keep them and even used an interpreter but she wanted us to have them! She said she had plenty. I think she wanted to have something to give us back, so sweet. Sasha seemed okay about going and explained to a friend he was coming back and they would see him again soon. He got on the plane without looking back! Stella was sad when it was time to leave and cried big crocodile tears that melted every heart. There was not a dry eye in the place. So they are airborn now headed back. God bless them and safe travel mercies. To God be the glory!
