The Latest

Our dossier has arrived in Kaz! It went in to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs late February so it could come out any day. There is so much to do like figure out how to pack for a month with minimal space and weight. It's hard to know what to pack with a restriction of 44 pounds per person total weight. We heard it was in the 40's one day and single digits the next and there is still snow and ice on the ground. It will take 3 days to get to our final destination of Karaganda there with a 4 hour layover in Frankfurt and overnight in Almatay!

We talked to Sasha and Stella two weeks ago to tell them it will be soon and they were excited. Some of the other adoptive parents that hosted kids while they were here last Summer are starting to go over and get their kids. Hopefully all the kids will be here again this Summer, but this time here to stay!
